Industrial TestingWe are pleased to be able to offer an array of mobile hearing services through our industrial division, Business Hearing Solutions. These services are designed to satisfy OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1919.95, found here and MSHA Code 30 CFR Part 62, found here.
Services we offer include:
Accurate hearing tests:
- performed by a CAOHC-certified technician
- reviewed by an Audiologist
- baseline tests and annual tests
- on-site at your place of business
Sound level monitoring:
- tests the noise levels wherever employees work
- identifies which employees are being exposed to noise levels at or above OSHA's "action level"
Employee training on the following:
- the effects of noise on hearing
- the purpose of hearing protection and how to select, fit, and care for them
- the purpose of hearing testing and testing procedures
Our mobile testing trailer is designed to provide the best possible environment and most efficient processes to test your employees quickly and accurately. Its features include:
- Computer-based audiometers that store data and compare yearly results to check for changes in employees' hearing
- 3 hearing tests able to be performed simultaneously
- Individual sound booths to minimize ambient noises and distractions from inside the trailer
- Sound- treated walls to further reduce noises outside the trailer
- Air-conditioning and heating to keep temperatures comfortable while testing
We travel to you! This reduces employee downtime, which saves you money and keeps the work going with minimal interruption.
